HEALING |
| HEALING: Modern Health seems to be discovering
what Native People knew long ago, that Faith heals. As a young Priest I remember hearing on the Turtle Mountain Reservation the scorn heaped on a Healer, passed away. The Elders said she could heal many ailments including Cancer. She had not been able to pass along her healing power, because she could not pass on either her own Faith, or the Faith of those who had come to her. Science (?) had diminished that Faith.
