In the shadows of the Benedictine Monastery of Blue Cloud Abbey lies a vast meandering ravine. Through it runs a spring fed creek surrounded by trees, wildflowers, and blessed with the songs of a variety of birds. It is truly "a site to behold," the beauty of God's creation.

In the midst of this quiet and private setting, the monks of Blue Cloud Abbey have constructed a campsite, a place of retreat, a sacred space where the crowning of God's creation, His people, might pause from the business of life for reflection, refreshment, renewal and recreation.
